I have changed the gearbox oil a couple of times and found that fresh oil seems to help a bit, always used the LV 75W from Toyota. Car is used as a taxi so needs some changes, now on 200k miles. WOW what a difference :o gear change feels smooth deacceleration noise has been dramatically reduced. i found a garden hose pipe was the ideal size for the refill, but the draw back is you can not see the oil in the pipe so i got a bit messy and i over filled it but it soon self leveled when i pulled out the pipe.
