Just posted! Canon EOS 5D Review. The EOS-1Ds is Canon's newest professional SLR. Based on the EOS-1D body the EOS-1Ds raises resolution to 11 megapixels, uses a CMOS sensor (just like the EOS-D30 and D60) and is the first Canon digital SLR with a sensor which captures a full 35 mm frame.The Canon EOS R5 offers a higher maximum video resolution of 8K (8192 x 4320), while the Fujifilm X-T5’s maximum resolution is 6K (6240 x 4160). This means the EOS R5 produces sharper and more detailed video output. Additionally, the EOS R5 boasts a maximum video frame rate of 120fps, double the X-T5’s 60fps. Professionally, I run a 1D MkI (Classic) for sports / action photography and a 1Ds MkI for portraiture. The colour / contrast on my 1D classic is stunning and is the only Eos that allows 1/500th X-sync (a 1Dx can't manage that!). I have only three lenses: 16-35mm 2.8L, 50mm 1.4 prime, 70-200mm 2.8L.
For me I will sell 1Ds Mark III now (price still ok at moment before new 1Ds Mark IV out) then get 1D Mark IV for your works. Good/quality high ISO important for wedding low light~ I cannot see why FF so important if you got very nice 1D Mark IV Sell 1Ds Mark III and skip 5D Mark II, don't look back get 1D Mark IV then see new 1Ds Mark IV !
